Born in the year of Dante, "Dolce Stil Novo" refers to a new range of high quality Made in Italy fabrics consisting
of natural fibres or yarns derived from the recycling and regeneration of waste and discarded materials, which
combines design and sustainability by giving them a new life.

La Sustainability is the leitmotiv that characterises all the collections of the Dolce Vita Textile company, which has always been committed to using certified materials and partners e partner certificati e di una a controlled and traceable supply chain:from harvesting to weaving, from dyeing to finishing. With the Dolce Stil Novo collection, the company not only reaches a new point of arrival, but also a new point of departure because many of the future collections will fall under this new “label.”

L’Eco-design is now an essential tool to substantially reduce waste production by following the ‘3 R’s of Sustainability’: reduce, reuse, recycle. This is combined with the use of renewable energy sources, a significant reduction in the use of chemicals, maximum water savings and respect for
workers’ rights.

High quality fabrics, resistance, intense colours, a soft hand, pleasant touch: these are the characteristics of the new Dolce Stil Novo collection, di-
vided into three categories: EcoPure, EcoSafe, EcoSound..

COLLECTIONS

100% pure linen, the first Oeko-Tex Class 1
and REACH Class 1 certified fabric,
launched on the market by Dolce Vita Tex-
tile back in 2005. All 73 colours that make
up the range have been tested to certify
that they contain no chemicals harmful to
people or the environment and that their use is also suitable for contact with the
skin of children aged 3+ years.Linen is a natural, biodegradable raw materialthat does not contain GMOs and
does not require the use of toxic substances during production, extraction and processing. Contrary to what normally hap
pens, the cultivation of flax enriches the
humus in the soil, and it does not require
artificial irrigation as rainwater is sufficient,
allowing an enormous saving of water.
Finally, it is extracted by mechanical processes without the use of manual labour. Purolino is a sustainable fabric that falls into our EcoPure category.

Ecological fibres deriving from the recycling of polluting waste recovered, re-processed and transformed into new products, with a significant reduction in non-biodegradable waste.

Corduroy velvet made of 100% polyester yarn from from recycled plastic bottles, polluting waste, pollut
ing wastedestined for landfills is thus recovered, reworked, refined and reintro
duced into the market. This fabric is par
ticularly resistant and maintains its charac
teristics over time.
The yarn obtained is Oeko-Tex Cl 1 e REACH Cl 1certified, which guarantees
that theyarn contains no chemicals harm
ful to both people and the environment
and that it is also suitable for use in direct
contact with the skin of children aged 3+
years.
On request, the fabric can be GRS certified, guaranteeing that the yarn really
does come from recycled material and
that the entire production and storage
chain is traced, from the arrival of the bottles to the production of the yarn and fin
ished fabric.
Floki is a sustainable fabric that falls into
our EcoSafe category.

Just like the most creative previews of the best fashion maisons, Dolce Stil Novo Cruise is a young and fresh collection, characterized by intense colors and soft touch textures.
Sustainability is the common theme of all the various fabrics, in fact the chenille of the Cruise Chenille & Melange items is made from recycled polyester from yarn production waste or leftovers.

A soft structure woven entirely in chenille with a soft velvety touch, made exclusively from 100% polyester yarn, of which 72% is derived from recycled materials. The core principles guiding this product are recovery, reprocessing and enhancement, all aimed at reintroducing a high-quality “green” product into the market by leveraging the circular economy. In fact, we use plastic waste and PET bottles that would otherwise end up in landfills to create this sophisticated and innovative yarn. No harmful chemicals are used in the production processes, ensuring the lowest possible environmental impact, which benefits both our planet and the users of the fabric. This revolutionary chenille fabric is also remarkably durable and retains its shape and texture over time. Moreover, it offers the convenience of being easily washable in a household washing machine.

Bouclè made of 47% recylced polypropylene, partly from non-woven pproduction waste (offcuts, second choices, nonconforming materials) and partly from yarn production scraps or leftlovers. This waste, destined for landfills, is recovered, reprocessed, refined and reintroduced into the market in a new form. The production process does not require the use of water or chemicals, minimises CO2 emissions, and reduces the production of new materials, without neglecting the technical or aesthetic aspects of the fabric, which remain absolutely unalterated.

Ecological fibres deriving from the regeneration of natural materials, previous processing waste, which uses less energy and exhaustible raw materials.

REGENERATED FIBERS

FEATURES

A fabric made of80% cotton obtained
from the regeneration of garment scraps
and the remaining 20% polyester, which is
necessary to give the fibre strength, uni
formity of colour and durability. The pro-
cess of converting pre-dyed yarn offcuts
and scraps requires no further dyeing, thus
saving thousands of litres of water (dyeing
would require 10 litres of water per kg of
 cotton).

Kobe is a sustainable fabric and deserving
of our EcoSound category.

A fabric made from 70% cotton obtained from the regeneration of garment scraps and the remaining 25% polyester, which is necessary to give the fibre strength, uniformity of colour. The process of converting pre-dyed yarn offcuts and scraps requires no further dyeing, thus saving thousands of litres of water (dyeing would require 10 litres of water per kg of cotton). The yarn obtained is Oeko-Tex Cl 1 and REACH Cl 1 certified, which guarantees that the yarn contains no chemicals harmful to both people and the environment. On request, the fabric can be GRS certified, guaranteeing that the yarn really does come from recycled material. What makes the fabric unique, also from an appearance point of view, is the innovative "basket" finishing, thanks to which the fabric shrinks by almost 20%, becoming threedimensional and compact, thus recalling the natural effect of drying in the open air.
